Do you guys often do vintage shopping?!
I didn’t do too much when I was young young,.. But after I moved to Helsinki
at the age of 20, I started to discover the vintage shops. Why?
In Helsinki they have a great selection of Vintage shops and it’s very common to recycle, which is amazing!
That’s when I learned the key of styling in my opinion.
How to create an all black look and still to make it look interesting!
How to play with different shapes, cuts, fabrics and so on.
That’s when I also started to look at the pieces of clothing for what they actually are.
And what do I mean with that?!
My point is, many think combining expensive designer pieces makes the great look!
Which definitely isn’t the case. I can see so many people using all their money on all these expensive pieces,
and the outcome is a flat and boring look without any personality.

For me it’s all about the perfect balance between expensive & cheap, new & old,
and of course how you combine it all into your final look!

Back to vintage shopping! 😀
This coat I found during our stay in Munich.
I’ve been looking for one like these for such a long time, and finally it was there!
